How to study for the TEAS test: a plan that follows the scored counts
Built to TEAS Version 7 / HESI A2 (Elsevier review 6th ed.).Last reviewed .Changelog
About 40% of TEAS takers end up retaking, per ATI. The difference between the first attempt and the second is usually how the time was spent, not how much.

Diagnostic first
One full timed run tells you which sub-content areas cost points. Studying everything equally wastes the hours Science needs.
Science at textbook depth
Review sheets are not enough for anatomy and physiology questions that ask about mechanisms. Our science items are grounded in the OpenStax Anatomy and Physiology text and the explanation names the chapter.
Practice the section clocks
Reading is 1.2 minutes an item, Math 1.5, Science 1.2, English 1.0. Sections cannot be reopened. Run them timed so the pace is familiar.
Know the retake gap
ATI requires at least 48 hours before a retake and does not limit attempts; many schools do. Check your program's policy before booking.
